Instagram for My Mom

When my father died, my mom decided to move up North (Quebec) to spend more time with her mom and brothers and I really don't blame her. At the time, I was newly married, had no plans on having children for a little while and I think she just wanted to take advantage of a really shitty situation.

I'd send my mom lots of pics through messenger so she could see the kids growing up but decided to create an instagram account recently so that they'd all be in one place and she could look back on them whenever she missed the kids.

I kind of understand why people get addicted to posting on the gram. I try and post a few times a week and I rather enjoy making reels and taking pics to show my mom. I often go through my Instagram before I go to bed just to appreciate the awesome family I have.

When I was working shift and running the business, I spent little to no time with the family but I knew eventually I'd make up for that. I'm glad all the hard work has finally paid off.
