I am forever grateful to the city of Guelph

My second festival and first profitable festival was in Guelph back in 2017. If it wasn't for Guelph, I wouldn't be running my festival business.

My first event was in 2017 in Hamilton. The event was a success but I had lost a ton of money which is typical for a first time event. After looking at the numbers and seeing where I made my mistakes, I gave it another go in Guelph, a small university town with no beer festival in the summer or winter.

The event sold out in record time with little to no marketing budget and it was profitable which was really important. I needed to show Katie that this was a financially viable business because we were going into debt and she didn't want us to lose all of our savings which is understandable.

I just ran my 6th annual event in Guelph and it was just amazing to be back. Tickets sold out with little to no marketing spend, arcades and games were all across the second floor concourse and people were just happy to be there. Nothing makes me happier than watching people have a great time at one of my events. Guelph, you will forever be remembered as the city who gave me my freedom.
