2 Festivals Left

I just finished up Kingston this weekend and it went pretty well. Last year we ran out of food early which is never a good thing at a food and drink show. Food was our #1 problem in 2023 and we seemed to have solved our food issue for this year. I figure by year 4, we will have a really good list of dependable food vendors for all 8-10 festivals across the province.

We sold just over 2,200 tickets with a goal of 2,000. Kingston is a really price sensitive market and having to use ticketmaster doesn't help our ticket costs. Anyways a good event overall, we greatly improved from last year and we should be able to run a better event next year.

I'm really behind on my task list so today I'll be trying to catch up. I've got to....

• Finish the personal taxes

• Get Insurance Updated for Barrie

• Finish off all Guelph Documentation

• Work on a new marketing campaign for Barrie

• Update Barrie website with new vendors

• Update licensing application with new vendors for Barrie

• Finish Guelph Floor plan

• Finish Guelph Menu Card

• Book the McMaster Planetarium for next week for the kids show

• Do 10k steps

• Spend 1 Hour cleaning the house/storage unit.

• Order parts for my festival arcades

• Call my mom to tell her I love her

• Send Katie an I love you text

• Pick up the kids from aftercare and make them dinner

• Go through my 200 new emails

• Talk to dad for 5 minutes

• Write 1 more journal entry tonight before bed.
